Directive 2010/571/EU: Newly Revised EU RoHS Exemption List
On 25 September 2010, the European Commission (EC) published an Official Journal - Directive 2010/571/EU to amend the Annex to Directive 2002/95/EC.
Exemptions listed in the Annex are now amended in ways such that some exemptions are maintained or removed, new expiry dates are set, the mercury limits in lighting products are altered, and the lamps with mercury content which were governed in 2009/244/EC and in 2009/245/EC are more appropriate to be regulated in 2002/95/EC.
