For owners to achieve the accuracy of oil, chemicals, feeding, outgoing and storage capacity, and to make sure whether the tank is subject to pressure, wind, earthquake by long-term use causing tilting, deformation and other situations, SGS provides tank capacity and related inspection services.

In order to let owners to know the accuracy of oil, chemicals, feeding, outgoing and storage capacity, and to confirm the suitability of the tanks for continued use under the standards, we provide tank capacity and related inspection services, which will be performed according to international standards for various types of tanks (upright cylindrical tank (internally floating roof / external floating roof), horizontal cylindrical tank and spherical tank etc.).

• Tank calibration : use Reflectorless Total Stations to measure volume accurately and provide tank calibration report.
• Tank plumbness and roundness : make sure whether the tank is subject to pressure, wind, earthquake by long-term use causing tilting, deformation and other situations. Measure plumbness and roundness accurately and provide the reports.
• Ship tank volume calibration and measurement.
