India NCCS announced an update regarding the Pro Tem Certificates by extending their period of validity from six months to two years, which aiming to improve administrative efficiency. Effective from December 5, 2025, all newly issued Pro Tem Certificates will be valid for a period of two years. For existing Pro Tem Certificates that are nearing expiration, applicants who apply for renewal through the MTCTE portal will receive a renewed certificate valid for the remaining period up to a total of two years from the date of initial issuance.
