New TDRA label has been implemented for new type approval certificates or renewal certificates issued after March 1, 2022.

On January 13, 2022, Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has announced the test reports/results issued by the labs which accredited by ILAC signatories from non-border sharing countries will only accepted, otherwise the sample for local test will be required.

CITC updated the WLAN regulation with new technical conditions. According to the regulations, WLAN equipment shall be type approved by CITC prior to importation to the Kingdom and must adhere to CITC’s published technical specifications. In addition, CITC is permitting the use of specific WLAN Frequency Bands under the light licensing regime.

In the new Acts, ANATEL defines new standards and tests that must be applied to products that operate 4G-NBlot and 5G. Going forward, laboratories and Designated Certification Bodies (DCBs) must request tests according to these new standards depending on the product type. The Acts also include an important reservation that must be applied to all products that use 4G bands for 5G operations, in that they must be retested under the 5G functional tests. Certificates for these retested products must be updated within a maximum of 6 months.

State Radio Regulatory Commission of the People's Republic of China (SRRC) issued Notice No. [2021] No. 129 on October 13, 2021, strengthening the technical requirement of 2400-2483.5MHz, 5150-5350MHz and 5725-5850MHz frequency bands.
