In April, 2022, ANATEL released the Act 5159 regarding to new Mobile Phone charger requirements, which revokes the previous Act 3481 to make some changes in the EMC testing for vehicle chargers and add new mechanical testing for Wall Chargers’ Plugs and some others. This act was originally to be enforced on October 26, 2022.

Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) released a Note NO-2022-83513667-APN-DYNART#ENACOM on August 11, 2022, which announced the end of the transition period regarding the acceptance of the new labeling scheme for ENACOM approved devices established by Resolution No. 854/2020 dated August, 2020. Since August 12, 2022, all new applications must use the Registro de Actividades y Materiales de Telecomunicaciones (RAMATEL) draft label for submission. Products that have been previously approved under the CNC ID labeling scheme may still be sold with the CNC ID and do not require a new RAMATEL label.
