ITA News - Update Standards of 62368 in Korea and Thailand
Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) released KC 62368-1; Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) cancelled new standard TIS 1195-2561, and kept old standard TIS 1195-2536 effective.
Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) released 2021-0283 announcement on Aug. 27, 2021, which announced that KC 60065、K 60950-1、K 60950-22 have been replaced by KC 62368-1 since the released date of the announcement. Certificate issued with standard KC 60065, K 60950-1 or K 60950-22 will be invalid after Dec. 31, 2022, and product complying with these standards can still import and sell with the current certificate before the date.
Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) released announcement on Aug. 27, 2021, this announcement cancelled new standard TIS 1195-2561 which released on Mar. 2, 2021, and kept old standard TIS 1195-2536 effective.
The announcement also noticed that TIS 62368 Book 1-2563 standard will be released in near future. The standard will control over 20 products, and will replace old standard TIS 1195-2536 after the standard is issued.
