SGS Brazil Gains New ANATEL Accreditation
SGS do Brasil Ltda. earned a new ANATEL testing scope under ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025.

On November 4, 2025, SGS do Brasil Ltda. (accreditation no. CRL 0194) earned a new ANATEL testing scope under ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025, significantly strengthening its wireless and communication testing capabilities and reinforcing SGS’s role as a trusted compliance partner for global manufacturers entering Brazil.
Expanded Testing Scope
This accreditation covers a wide range of technologies, including:
- Safety testing
- Bluetooth, LoRa, WiSUN, ZigBee, FHSS
- WiFi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be & WiFi 6E (AWGN and DFS) for 20/40/80/160/320 MHz bandwidths
- Wireless MIC
- Cellular modules and handsets 2G/3G/4G/5G (SA/NSA/RedCap)
- IPv6 and BTS testing
- Repeaters, microwave radios, trunking radios, RF amplifiers
All testing complies with the latest 3GPP, ETSI, RFC 8200, and ANATEL requirements, ensuring reliable and market-ready compliance results.
Enhanced Certification Capabilities
As an ANATEL-designated OCD (Act No. 6894), SGS Brazil is authorized to assess and certify various telecommunications products, such as:
- Mobile phone chargers and Lithium batteries
