EAC Declaration of Conformity application

The products marketed in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) must undergo conformity assurance procedures before 1 March 2020 to prove their compliance with the EAEU Technical Regulation 037/2016 (On the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrotechnical and radio-electronic products). As of March 2020, RoHS declaration of Conformity (DoC) will be mandatory for products being sold in Russia and countries in the Customs Union including Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

 

Scop

  • Electrical apparatus and appliances for household use
  • Electronic computers and their peripherals (connected to them)
  • Telecommunication (terminal telecommunication) equipment
  • Copiers and other electrical office equipment
  • Electrical tools (manual and portable electric machines)
  • Sources of light and lighting equipment, including equipment built into furniture
  • Electrical music tools
  • Vending machines and gaming machines
  • Cash registers, ticket printers, ID card readers, information kiosks, ATMs, card terminals
  • Cables, wires, cords intended for use at a rated voltage below 500 V AC/DC, except for fiber optic cables
  • Automatic switches and residual current devices;
  • Fire, security and fire security alarms/detectors

 

The restricted substances and the maximum concentration allowed in homogeneous materials are listed below

  • Cadmium (0.01 %)
  • Lead (0.1 %)
  • Mercury (0.1 %)
  • Hexavalent chromium (0.1 %)
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0.1 %)
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0.1 %)
