Directional Gain and TA SAR measurement service is now available

Directional Gain Measurement Service
We are very pleased to announce that our directional gain measurement service for wireless NetCom devices is now available to our customers.  A directional gain measurement accurately assesses the transmit beamforming gain of, e.g., a Wi-Fi AP router equipped with multiple antennas, allowing for maximizing the output power of the device while complying with FCC maximum power requirements.

Time-Averaged SAR Verification Service
We are also very pleased to announce that SGS Taiwan Labs have received full approvals from Qualcomm and MediaTek to perform time-averaged SAR verification services for devices with chipsets employing time-averaged SAR algorithms developed by the two chipset providers:

• WWAN
  • Qualcomm: Smart Transmit
  • MediaTek: TA-SAR / TA-PD
• Non-cellular WLAN
  • Qualcomm: FastConnect
  • MediaTek: Time-average Tech 1.0WL
