FCC 

The FCC approved seven applications for AFC systems from Qualcomm, Federated Wireless, Sony, Comsearch, the Wi-Fi Alliance, the Wireless Broadband Alliance, and Broadcom to operate in the 6 GHz band on February 24, 2024. These systems will manage access to this spectrum by standard power Wi-Fi devices, thereby allowing these devices to begin operating in the 6 GHz band.
