The Laos Ministry of Technology and Communications (MOTC) released notice No. 416《Principles of implementation of laws and regulations regarding technical standards》on July 21, 2023, and it will come into force on August 4, 2023.
MOTC Released Notice No. 416
The Laos Ministry of Technology and Communications (MOTC) released notice No. 416《Principles of implementation of laws and regulations regarding technical standards》on July 21, 2023, and it will come into force on August 4, 2023. The main points are as follows:
- CoC and SDoC for type 1 equipment: The validity period remains 3 years.
- SDoC for type 2 equipment: The validity period of certificates submitted from August 4, 2023 will be changed to 1 year, and previously issued certificates can be used before the validity period expires.
- The equipment which mandatory to apply for MOTC symbol, please refer to following table.
