Introduction

ISO 46001: 2019, Water efficiency management systems - Requirements with guidance for use, has been developed to assist organizations in all sizes and sectors to increase water efficiency with water use review, performance evaluation, and implement and improvement of significant water use management. Certification Process
With Certification application questionnaire received, SGS will assign a sales manager to assist corporate with the following:
- Gap Analysis audit (Optional):
- Comparing and analyzing current status of water management in the company with ISO 46001 requirements
- Formal Audit for the first year, processes in 2 stages
- 1st Stage: Understanding and reviewing of certification preparation, ISO 46001 related documents and the scope for certificate
- 2nd Stage: Onsite evidence collecting and certification in accordance with requirements from ISO 46001, interested bodies& stakeholders and company’s internal documents
- Certification Cycle
- Certificate will be issued after audit process of the 1st year, which valid for 3 years and needed to process annual audit in order to assure the maintenance of management system and continuous improvement of performance
