SGS NCC RCB Certification Services

Since 2014, SGS Taiwan Ltd. has been accredited by the National Communications Commission (NCC) and the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) as a Recognized Certification Body (RCB). As an authorized RCB, SGS is qualified to provide product certification services for Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN ALL) telecommunications terminal equipment, helping manufacturers, brand owners, and importers obtain NCC certification for market access in Taiwan.

SGS continuously invests in certification expertise and quality management systems to ensure that all certification activities are conducted with impartiality, independence, and consistency in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Our certification scope covers a wide range of today's mainstream wireless communication products, including low-power radio frequency (LP RF) equipment such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, IoT devices, wireless mice, wireless keyboards, and other short-range wireless products. SGS also provides certification for Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) terminal equipment, including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NB-IoT, and 5G NR (FR1) mobile communication devices.

To streamline the certification process, SGS offers comprehensive guidance for NCC applications, including Type Approval, Family Model Applications, Declaration of Conformity (DoC), and Simplified Declaration of Conformity (SDoC). Detailed application procedures, process flowcharts, and downloadable application forms are also available to assist applicants throughout the certification process.
