OTA Antenna Perfomance Test Service

SGS Taiwan's 3D antenna (OTA) testing laboratory was recognized by the CTIA in 2005, becoming the first CTIA-approved laboratory (CATL) in Asia. In 2006, it received accreditation from the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF).
OTA testing focuses on active antenna performance metrics of wireless devices, namely total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS) testing. Additionally, passive antenna performances (frequency range: 600MHz to 7.5GHz) and data throughput can also be measured.
SGS OTA offers comprehensive testing coverage, including 2G, 3G, LTE SISO, LTE CA 4x4 MIMO, and 5G NR FR1, as well as A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Cat-M1, and NB-IoT.
SGS OTA currently operates 20 anechoic chambers globally across four countries: Taiwan, the US, China, and South Korea. This includes seven MIMO chambers and one 5G CATR chamber. In Taiwan, we maintain seven anechoic chambers across three locations: Wugu, Neihu, and Hwaya, ensuring sufficient testing capacity.
Maintaining comprehensive carrier certification credentials, SGS OTA is approved by Vodafone and Orange in Europe, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Dish in the US, and NTT Docomo and Softbank in Japan. Additionally, we are a Sigfox P1/P2-accredited lab in Taiwan, China, and the US.
With over five years of professional testing experience on average, SGS OTA test engineers deliver comprehensive OTA antenna measurement services with proven expertise and consistent quality.
