SOLID RECOVERED FUEL SAMPLING AND INSPECTION

Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is made from recycled plastics and biomass (such as waste paper, wood, and other wood fiber waste) and other non-hazardous and combustible materials. It has three major advantages: low environmental impact, low fuel cost, and suitability for high energy efficiency boilers and combustion facilities. Compared to traditional petrochemical fuels, using Solid Recovered Fuel can reduce carbon emissions. At present, “turning waste into energy” has become a global trend.
The Executive Yuan has formulated the “Solid Recovered Fuel Manufacturing Technology Guidelines and Quality Specifications” and announced relevant inspection methods to ensure the quality of Solid Recovered Fuel. At the same time, it has also set the “Waste Fuel Promotion Goal” to gradually increase the domestic waste fuel quantity year by year. SGS has obtained the sampling and inspection certification of Solid Recovered Fuel quality standards. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
