ITA News Update - Singapore CPSO Updated Applicable Standards for Medium-Risk Controlled Goods
On May 31, 2022, Singapore Consumer Product Safety Office (CPSO) released new circular CPSO-310522-05 which updated the required safety standards for medium risk Controlled Goods under the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR), please refer to the below table.

The new requirements will have the following effective dates:
- From June 1, 2024 - for new registrations of Controlled Goods
- From June 1, 2025 - for renewal of registration
